Dealing with others is a big trouble for most of the people, and a person who knows this art can be successful in business.

Stay calm:
Losing your temper isn’t the best way to get things done from people, unless you know anger is the only thing that can make a person do that thing. Most of the time, staying calm can be really helpful in getting you out of that situation. It has been proven people work more effectively when their boss stays calm even if an employee did something wrong. It makes the environment of the person more comfortable to work and learn.
Develop a bond with your colleague/employees:
In the modern world it’s getting very unique to actually have bonds with other people. To really get people enjoying working with you or for you, It is necessary for you to let them get close to you. This way they will be more inclined to work better. Get to know them other than work, dine out with them. Of course, always set your limits, don’t get too far.
Respect other’s perspective:
It’s common to find difficulty in making other people understand your perspective, but the first rule to make this happen is respecting others’ perspective, even if you disagree. Try to look from a new angle, maybe it’s the way to solve the problem. Never hesitate to try something new, that your employee is suggesting. Never insult anyone’s opinion, if you are doing so you will gain the same response on your’s.

Get help when you need:
If you are in charge of something, it doesn’t mean you are always going to be right, always seek help when you feel like seeking. When you do so, it not only gets you out of that situation but also other people see his/her position in your life, and when they get to know it makes them close to you. Some people show arrogance while seeking help from others, but there’s no shame in it at all.
Don’t avoid conflicts:
It is very likely to have conflicts in the business industry every other day but a person who is in the business industry should understand the fact that running away from conflicts is never a solution, infact, facing them is. Face them with confidence and do not lose your temper. Try to solve the situation instead of dragging it. Try to find what’s right instead of who is right, this way people wouldn’t take it personally on themselves and conflict will be solved, unlike otherwise.
Always appreciate:
Appreciation can do wonders. Always appreciate people for whatever good they do. It will make them happy and they will respect you more. If they are your employees they will work more happily with dedication. So if there’s a slightest opportunity to appreciate someone, don’t waste it. It’s in human nature, we show more productivity when we are appreciated than when we are criticized. Criticism is only worth it if you know that the other person is capable of understanding and improving, otherwise it never helps.
