Some gifts stay with us long after someone is gone — a laugh we still hear, a story we still tell, a moment of humor that still lightens the room. Dad’s Gift is a reflection on the kindness, wisdom, joy, and unforgettable laughter my father shared so generously.

I went on a wonderful trip to see the polar bears in their natural habitat in Churchill, Canada. Fabulous trip that inspired me to write the following poem. Check out the video to see more of the tundra and these fabulous creatures…

As our time here ends, the memories remain, leaving hoof prints on our hearts. From sweeping vistas and rugged treks to rushing rivers and lush fields, every moment with our horses and fellow riders was filled with unbridled joy. Our gaucho hosts were always ready, making sure we were well-cared for. We leave refreshed, grateful, and looking forward to our next ride together.
